I want to create flyers and posters with similar styles to this design. i like the contrast of the ink filled black amongst colour, and i like the idea of it bursting with design and pattern. i will probably hand generate my own with most of it using paints and water colours and then tweek it up on photoshop.

John pasche's work;
- looks catchy because of all the colours being blended in together.
- the alignment of the type looks good and so does the use of uppercase because its different and stands out.
- this deasign is mainly computer generated, i can tell this by the brightened and saturated colours and the imagery itself.
Jamie Reid's work;
- this portrays what the sex pistols are about mainly because they dont like people with authority or power.
- most of jamies work uses well know images and then puts his stamp on it.
- its almost a graffiti style, accept his work uses text to cover certain parts of the image.
- he communicated to the target audience by being different and showing his rebellious side which people can relate to.
Peter Blake's work.
- completely hand generated due to lack of software at the time.
- made from a collage.
- looks bright because of the range of colours used.
- shows lots of creativity.
- the use of uppercase type makes the title 'Beatles' stand out alot more.
- he communicated to their target audience by showing that they appeal to all types of people which is similar to their music because all types of people still listen to the beatles.
